I recently tried out an online writing tool called PRO WRITING AID. It one of a number of programs out there designed to help you edit and polish your work.
You can try to program for FREE and, in fact, there is a FREE version you can use afterwards that has a wide array of checks...
The program looks at aspects such as Overused Words, Style, Sentence Length, Cliches & Redundancies, Grammar and Sticky Sentences. On the FREE version you can check a block of text 3000 words long - and the check is completed very fast, in less than 10 seconds on my PC.
Is it a Holy Grail for writers? No, of course not, but it could be a useful tool - another set of (virtual) eyes to scrutinise your work for you.
My only advice would be not to accept every criticism it makes of your text, as you could easily destroy your work. Look at what the program highlights and decide yourself.
It is definitely worth checking out the program and seeing what you think. Use the link below:

Hopefully, this will help make someone else's life a little easier!
